Ubud and the monkeys
We went to the monkey forest in the deep jungle of Ubud.
When we arrived, there were people feeding the monkeys. They were climbing on them and it was funny. They were very active, sliding down a big slippery log and I wanted to get down with them, so Oskar said “go on then but don’t complain to me if you get a stick of bamboo up your…”
One of them climbed on Oskar’s head and nit checked him but luckily he was clean. Another one tried to get something out of mummy’s pocket. A lady walked by and the monkey jumped onto her bag and opened it.
The cheeky things…
Mummy cuddling her baby
This one is for you Ahmad, the leaf is almost as tall as me….
Oskar might have a monkey smell…
We came back from our monkey expedition and mummy and daddy had to pack everything away as we were going to Lombok very early in the morning.
Daddy was in the process of putting the mosquito net back up when the blade of the fan slashed his wrist. He was very brave but we were all a little bit scared and I nearly cried. Mummy became a very good nurse and we all wanted to see the wound.
